How To Use Essential Oils
1 Add a few drops of your chosen essential oil to a warm bath, about an hour to 90 minutes before bedtime.
2 Use an air diffuser to help disperse the oil in the air in your bedroom either before you go to bed or throughout the night while you sleep.
3 Make a mist in a spray bottle by combining 4-5 drops of your chosen essential oil and half a cup of water. Then spray this mixture onto your linen and around your bedroom about an hour to 90 minutes before bedtime.
4 Combine with a carrier oil and use it in light self-massage.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Essential oils are very concentrated. Never ingest the oils or put it onto your skin directly without diluting it with a carrier oil (e.g., sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, etc.). Although it will not cause a reaction in every case, it does have the potential to cause skin irritations and other unwanted reactions. Pregnant women should also consult with their healthcare provider before using essential oils.
